Tank Dell Quietly Won the Draft
Houston didn't add WR competition. That's huge.
Despite missing all of 2025 with a serious injury, the Texans didn't see a need to add any real WR competition on Day 2 of the draft.
Think about what that means.
They'll roll with Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel entering year two, Nico Collins, and Dell this season. The only offensive addition of substance was an offensive lineman in Round 1.
Dell's situation going into 2026 is actually better than people realize.
Before his injury, he was establishing himself as a legitimate WR2 with WR1 weeks. The slot role in Houston's offense generates elite target volume, and with Stefon Diggs gone and no replacement added, the target tree has thinned.
Collins is the alpha. But Dell, when healthy, is the high-ceiling secondary piece that wins you weeks.
His ADP has cratered because of the injury. That's the buy window.
The same thing happened with Cam Akers, with Dak Prescott, with Saquon Barkley. The market prices in worst-case scenarios on injury returns. When the player is actually talented and the situation is actually good, that's where the edge is.
Dell is a top-24 WR if healthy. His ADP says otherwise. That's your edge.
