Top Bounce-Back Candidates for 2026
Buy the dip on these players.
A handful of players coming off down years become league-winners every season.
Most recently they were Christian McCaffrey, Travis Etienne, and Chris Olave. The market overcorrects on bad seasons. That's where the edge is.
Bucky Irving
In four fully healthy games to start 2025, Irving averaged 18.0 PPR fantasy points per game and was a top-9 RB overall. Then injuries and potential off-field issues derailed two months. But from weeks 13–18, he had 102 total rush attempts, sixth most in the league. He's a sleeper RB1.
Rome Odunze
Before his injury in 2025, Odunze was breaking out. Weeks 1–4 he averaged 19.9 fantasy points and 8.8 targets per game. Only Puka Nacua and Amon-Ra St. Brown were better. He was WR7 in expected PPG. With DJ Moore gone, both Burden and Odunze can eat.
Tucker Kraft
When healthy last year, Kraft was the top TE in fantasy points per game through weeks 1–8, tied with McBride at 16.2. The ceiling is the best TE in fantasy. Loveland, Fannin, and Warren are stealing the show in drafts, but don't forget Kraft. Buy the injury dip.
Saquon Barkley
Barkley was RB9 in expected fantasy PPG last year but RB66 in fantasy points over expected. A classic underperformance year after being the RB touch leader the previous season. He still had the 7th most RB opportunities. Buy the veteran discount with a new OC.
